Each side of this Cherokee-inspired basket depicts a quilt block representing a different season -- a flower for spring, a sunburst for summer, a leaf for autumn, and a snowflake for winter.  With the pattern woven in dark green, the basket is finished with a maple tung oil stain.  Reed is hand-dyed and may fade if exposed to direct sunlight.
