This market basket features a specialized weave which results in the entire basket having a double thickness of reed.  This makes as exceptionally sturdy basket.  The reed is variegated deep plum, dark green, and harvest yellow, with a natural band for interest.  Reed is hand-dyed and may fade if exposed to direct sunlight.  The basket is finished with maple tung oil stain.
