This intricate basket is woven using one continuous weaver, rather than a separate weaver for each row.  The weaving pattern along with the number of spokes (many!) creates the specific spiral pattern. This basket features the traditional Shaker cat's head bottom.  The sides are deep russet and natural.  Reed is hand-dyed and may fade if exposed to direct sunlight.  The basket is finished with light walnut tung oil.
