This delicate basket has an ornamental band that uses a complex technique weaving three weavers at once, rather than the standard one.  Strips of cane form the decorative band, with diamonds which are formed using very fine round reed in dark brown. The tung oil finish is a very pale oak.

Reed is hand-dyed and may fade if exposed to direct sunlight.
