This wicker basket features a spiral design in rust, maple, and hunter green.  A wicker basket is one constructed of round reed rather than flat reed.  This weave requires working with three weavers simultaneously.  The position of each of the weavers determines the pattern.  The flattened shape is typical of Asian baskets.
